The zero-emission powertrain of the Lexus UX 300e Electric combines a 150 kW / 204 hp electric motor, a 54.35 kWh lithium-ion battery, forward-wheel drive, an automatic transmission and steering wheel paddles to adjust the intensity of the engine braking.

Fuel efficiency and performance

The Lexus UX 300e, an urban subcompact SUV, can reach a top speed of 160 km/h. The range of the electric UX 300e is of about 300 km.

The lithium-ion battery is equipped with 288 cells. It is integrated into the vehicle floor of the Lexus 300e, leaving 367 L of cargo space behind the raised rear seat.

Charging the Lexus UX 300e

When plugged into a Level 2 home charging station, it takes just over 8 hours to fully charge the Lexus UX electric battery.

When the vehicle is plugged into a fast charging station, it takes just 50 minutes to charge the battery to 80 percent.

A unique design

The electric Lexus UX 300e features the brand's signature design with a large hourglass-shaped trapezoid grille and highly flared fenders.

The body of the Lexus UX 300e has been lowered by 20 mm to reduce drag. The UX 300e also features very aerodynamic wheels specially designed for Lexus electric vehicles.

Interior and comfort

The UX 300e can seat 5 people. The cabin is very comfortable, as expected from the Japanese manufacturer. Aboard, you will find all the driver-assist features from the Lexus+ 2.0 safety system, including:

Lexus has not yet revealed the suggested retail price (MSRP) of the 100% electric Lexus UX in Canada.
