Interested in the all-new 2021 Lexus IS? Spinelli Lexus Pointe-Claire unveils the new luxury com-pact sedan!

Produced since October 1998, the Lexus IS immediately found its audience in premium compact sedans. Indeed, from its first generation, the IS brought a fresh breeze to the Montreal area, notably with its famous Lexus chrome lamps, a design that was quickly adopted by the competition. At the same time, it also rivaled the segment's German tenors in terms of comfort and luxury. Over the years, it has been able to improve to keep up with its Teutonic competition, and thus remain in the lead. But for 2021, the Lexus IS, which has just been revamped, has arguments that will enable it to take the crown from its German rivals for good. Spinelli Lexus Pointe-Claire, your Lexus dealer of the in the West Island, gives you all the details on the specifications and prices of the all-new 2021 Lexus IS, which will be available soon in the metropolitan area.

THE new 2021 Lexus IS: a very distinctive yet elegant and refined design for the metropolitan region.

First of all the design, which is THE new Lexus IS element. True to its philosophy of offering vehicles that are both sleek and expressive, yet at the same time extremely refined, the all-new 2021 Lexus IS offers features that evoke an extremely subtle sporty feel in the eye of the beholder. Sharply angled, tapered front headlights, an extremely airy grille extending from the tip of the bonnet to the lower lip of the front bumper, distinctive wheel arches, ultra-sculpted side panels beautifully integrating four doors, and a spoiler overhanging an equally sharply cut-out taillight strip: the 2021 IS offers a typical Lexus design with a very distinctive character of its own.

Add to that the fact that it's 3 centimetres taller and 3 centimetres wider, and that it can fit very attractively designed wheels up to 19 inches (18 inches standard), and you get a sedan that offers a different but equally compelling interpretation of what luxury means in the category, in the region stretching from the West Island of Montreal to Laval.

Well-known but still seductive specifications in the Greater Montreal area.

As we often hear, you don't change a winning team. And that's exactly what Lexus has done for the engines powering the new 2021 IS in the metropolitan area, by reusing the three existing powertrains for the model, starting with the well-known supercharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing 241 hp for a torque of 258 lb-ft of the IS 300. With it, you'll get an eight-speed automatic transmission with optimized shifting, which transmits power to the ground via the rear wheels.

The 2021 Lexus IS is also available as an all-wheel drive in the aforementioned version, as well as for the IS 350. Both variants are powered by a noble 3.5L V6 engine delivering 260 hp for 236 lb-ft of torque in the IS 300, and 311 hp for a maximum torque of 280 lb-ft in the 350. As for the transmission, you'll also be on familiar ground with the excellent six-speed automatic transmission. You can then enjoy a very high level of driving pleasure in all circumstances with these last two versions, even in the middle of winter between the West Island and Laval, on the North Shore of Montreal.

A classic interior that's very well equipped to face everyday life, or to ride over longer distances.

Finally, the interior. On this level, the 2021 Lexus IS still offers a lot of elegance and classicism, as you would expect from such a vehicle between Laval and Montreal. With a rectilinear dashboard, round vents at each end but rectangular in the middle, an analog clock in the middle, and a two-tone interior (notably with a black/red configuration), the Lexus IS offers stunning clean lines throughout its interior so you can concentrate on what matters, namely the road!

It's also a well-equipped interior, as it can accommodate a multimedia system integrating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces on a 10.3-inch screen, as well as an audio system with 17 speakers and 1,800 watts of power. You'll then have everything you need to make your trips unique between the North Shore and the West Island, and beyond!
